Kenya, Aug. 2 -- My name is Janet. For 7 years, I worked as a prostitute on the streets of Nairobi. I never thought I would share my story, but I am tired of seeing young girls make the same mistakes I did without understanding what really happens to them spiritually. I didn't become a prostitute because I was lazy. Life pushed me into it. When I turned 20, I dropped out of college, and the father of my baby left me for another woman.
I was desperate and turned to the streets. At first, I thought it would be temporary, just until I could find a better situation. I met many types of men: married men, young men, rich men, drunken men, pastors, and even politicians. For them, it was just sleeping with each other. For me, it was about survival. What none of us realised was that each encounter was opening spiritual doors that I couldn't see at the time. Only later did they start to haunt me. To read more click here.
