Kenya, Aug. 9 -- Residents of Chavakali in Vihiga County were very surprised. A 29-year-old woman gave birth to three sets of twins who were joined together. This was the first time doctors in the area had seen something like this.
The woman went to the hospital after feeling strong stomach pain for two days. When she delivered, the medical staff were shocked to see that all six babies were stuck together in pairs at their chests and bellies. Her family, who were waiting outside, cried out in shock and worry when they heard that the mother was in danger.
Doctors were trying hard to help both her and the unusual babies. The hospital became very busy as specialists came in to check on the newborns.
