Kenya, Aug. 13 -- Residents of Eldoret were left in shock when a guy who had a history of terrible luck in court came out grinning with an unexpected legal triumph that many now consider to be nothing less than a miracle. For more than six years, the guy has been involved in a string of land disputes, losing case after case, according to his neighbours. He believed that there was a deliberate effort to provoke him and force him to sell his inheritance.Every court appearance presented fresh difficulties: witnesses altered their testimony, evidence inexplicably vanished, and judgements were handed down against him for inexplicable reasons. According to those close to him, following his fourth defeat, he withdrew, sold the majority of his animals to pay for growing legal bills, and even considered abandoning his ancestral home.
