Kenya, Aug. 8 -- I never imagined that the person my wife trusted would transform my house into a battlefield, destroying us from within. Although I've never been the type of man to disparage women, what I went through left me resentful, paranoid, and shattered. It's all because of my wife's hired housekeeper. My wife felt overburdened.
She needed assistance with our two kids and her hard career. I was in favour of employing someone to help out, cook, and possibly do some laundry. However, I had no idea that choice would be the beginning of my downfall. Our hired girl was obedient, soft-spoken, and youthful.
Despite being only 21, she exuded maturity and diligence. She immediately won my wife's trust. I didn't give her a second glance. In the first month, I hardly remembered her name. However, strange things began to occur gradually. My wife started becoming unwell all of a sudden. Despite weakness, mood changes, and persistent headaches, the physicians discovered no problems.
