Kenya, Aug. 10 -- When I was growing up, my mother had a close friend named Auntie Joyce, and she felt like part of our family. She came to all our family events and helped take care of me when my mom was sick. I considered her a second mother because she knew so much about me. She understood my dreams, my fears, and how much I wanted to get married and have my own family.

By the time I turned 30, I had been in three serious relationships. Each one ended suddenly and without any good reason. One man just stopped calling me. Another left me for someone else just two weeks before our engagement ceremony. The last one sent me a text that said, "You are a good woman, but I can't do this," and then blocked me on everything.

I thought I was just having bad luck. I believed maybe God was testing me. What hurt me the most was that Auntie Joyce was always there to comfort me. She would come to my house with food, sit next to me, and say, "Don't worry, your time will come." To read more click here.
