Kenya, Aug. 13 -- After a strange nighttime occurrence that forced a whole family to leave their house because their bed started moving on its own while they were sleeping, residents of Kangaru in Embu County are still in disbelief. The odd incident occurred when the Mugo family, a couple, and their two kids were startled awake at approximately 2:37 a.m. by what they originally believed to be an earthquake, according to the neighbours.
The bed shook strongly, moved towards the wall, and then rotated nearly halfway without anybody touching it, Mr Mugo told reporters. He said that the children started sobbing hysterically. "At first, I thought my wife was dreaming and kicking, but when we both realised we were in the air, that's when we screamed," he claimed.
Neighbours heard the family's cries and hurried to assist, only to discover that the bed was still moving slowly, as if being pulled by unseen hands. When witnesses attempted to raise the mattress, they said that the motions suddenly stopped. Shortly after, the couple snatched their kids and fled outdoors without stealing anything.
