
Kenya, Aug. 20 -- Reactions to the arrest of a lady who defrauded social media users out of over 100 million shillings have been conflicting across. She is charged with making fictitious TikTok profiles in which she posed as a spiritual advisor and business expert. Numerous desperate Kenyans fell for her false claims of success and ultimately sent their money in return for fictitious assurances of unexpected riches and unfulfilled weddings.According to the police, the suspect was able to deceive young people who were looking for rapid success and were unemployed. She would share videos on the internet showing off her fancy homes and automobiles, which she said were the result of her private rituals and special prayers. In an attempt to transform their lives, some seeking immediate fortune paid her substantial sums. Others believed she could reunite lost lovers or keep their beloved faithful.
