Kenya, Sept. 6 -- Following a remarkable event that occurred in the middle of the night when a large snake arrived in a local lodging room, residents of Marimanti town in Tharaka Nithi County, Meru, are still in shock. In addition to frightening bystanders, the odd incident exposed an unfaithful couple and sparked intense online and offline debates. Witnesses said that just as the couple was getting ready to go to bed, they noticed the snake creeping around their bed.
Screams reverberated throughout the building, drawing staff and neighbors from adjacent rooms as panic broke out. The identities of the people involved in the controversy as well as the reptile shocked many who hurried to the site. Locals described the man as a well-respected businessman who had been rumored to be involved in several relationships for a long time. The woman was a well-known member of the community and a married citizen of the same town. In the most surprising way, their attempt to conceal their connection was destroyed.
