CANBERRA, ACT, March 27 -- Australian Federal Police issued the following media release:

Two Sydney men are scheduled to appear before Parramatta District Court today (27 March, 2026) to faceone charge each of allegedly performing a Nazi salute.

The AFP National Security Investigations (NSI) team issued the Castle Hill men with a Court Attendance Notice in December, 2025, after they each allegedly performed a Nazi salute during a rally at Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park, Sydney, on 19 October, 2025.

The men, aged 24 and 25, have each been charged with one count of publicly displaying a prohibited Nazi symbol or giving a Nazi salute, contrary to section 80.2H of the Criminal Code (Cth). The offence carries a mandatory minimum sentence of ...
