A Sydney man was sentenced to an 11-month Intensive Correction Order by the NSW Local Court yesterday (30 September, 2026) for threatening to kill an Australian high office holder and for multiple weapons offences.
The AFP's National Security Investigations (NSI) team began an investigation into reports of threatening phone calls directed towards an Australian high office holder in February, 2026.
In February 2026, investigators executed a search warrant at a Macquarie Fields home and seized three gel blasters, a pair of metal handcuffs and electronic devices.
