CANBERRA, ACT, July 29 -- Murray-Darling Basin Authority issued the following news release:
AGL in conjunction with River Murray Operations announced today that releases from Dartmouth Reservoir will be increased for the purposes of Electricity Generation.
The current discharge at Coleman's Gauge of 200 Ml/d or 0.9M gauge height will be gradually increased to 1700Ml/d or 1.62 M gauge height, commencing 12:00 hrs on 29/07/2025
This increase is expected to result in the flow at Tallandoon rising to approximately 3,200Ml/d or 2.14M gauge height.
The duration of the increased releases for electricity generation is until approx. 12:00 Thursday 31/7/2025 but will be dependent upon electricity demand in the near future. A further flow advice w...
