Belconnen, ACT, Aug. 22 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
A 33-year-old man will face court today for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking after he was found in a stolen motor vehicle this morning.
About 7am this morning (Friday, 22 August 2025), officers from City Police Station were conducting patrols in Acton when they observed a white Fiat 500 driving on a bicycle path.
A vehicle check indicated that the Fiat was reported stolen.
Officers activated their lights and sirens and the vehicle failed to stop.
A short time later, police lost sight of the man when he exited the Fiat and entered the driver's seat of a white Mazda 3.
