* TheCrisafulliGovernment'sHospitalRescuePlanhasdeliveredthe firstnew 32-bed ward as part of the Cairns Hospital Expansion.
* The Cairnsbeds are the first in themore than 2,600 new hospital beds to be delivered under the Hospital Rescue Plan.
* Works are continuingona further 32 new beds to be delivered in 2027, whileprocurementcontinuesfor the more than $1 billionCairns Hospital Expansion to be completed in 2031.
