BRISBANE, Queensland, Sept. 6 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:
Police have charged a 21-year-old Coorparoo man following an alleged dangerous driving and hooning-related incident in Yatala this morning, 6 September.
Just before 12:30am on Saturday, police conducting patrols in the area were informed about alleged hooning occurring on the Pacific Motorway.
As officers arrived, a silver Ford Falcon sedan allegedly accelerated away at speed and was monitored before being intercepted by police on Logan Road, Loganholme.
The driver allegedly fled on foot with three occupants before being taken into custody on the side of a service road at Loganholme a short time later.
