Welcome to this edition of River Reach. I'm coming to you from the beautiful Macquarie Marshes located about 110 kilometres outside of Warren in New South Wales.
We've spent the week out here engaging with communities, from local farmers and large irrigators, to environmental groups and local governments. That's because getting out in the community and hearing their views on the Basin Plan is so important to us... especially as we prepare for the 2026 Basin Plan Review.
