Vijayawada, June 20 -- Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday described yoga as a means of promoting health, discipline and social harmony, and said it has the potential to unite society, the nation and the world.

Speaking ahead of International Yoga Day, Baba Ramdev said yoga should be embraced as a way of life.

"Yoga is therapy for patients, a path of practice for yogis, and a way of life for everyone. Let society, the nation, and the world be united through yoga. Yoga is the only remedy," he said.

He also referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, describing them as "karma yogis."
