New Delhi, April 11 -- As the stage is set for the West Bengal assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday made a major financial pledge to consolidate the crucial women voters.

Addressing political rallies in Purba Bardhaman and Murshidabad, PM Modi said, "Seeing Bengal's growing support for BJP, TMC is in panic and is misleading people with lies. You can be certain that the BJP will shut down their shop of corruption. I have especially come to assure all the sisters and daughters of Bengal that the BJP has announced Rs.3,000 per month for women."
