New Delhi, Nov. 10 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday expressed profound shock and grief over the tragic car blast near Red Fort Metro Station in the national capital, which claimed at least eight lives and injured over two dozen people.
In a post on X, Banerjee said, "Deeply shocked to hear about the tragic blast in New Delhi. My heart goes out to the families who have lost their loved ones, and I pray for strength and a swift recovery for all those injured."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took stock of the situation in the wake of the blast in Delhi and spoke to Home Minister Amit Shah, government sources said on Monday.
