Visakhapatnam, Aug. 21 -- A three-member committee has been formed to investigate the death of a six-year-old student in Visakhapatnam, who allegedly died after being beaten by a school teacher on Friday.

Speaking to ANI while expressing condolences to the bereaved family, TDP State President Palla Srinivasa Rao said the incident was unfortunate and assured that the family would receive support.

"It is very unfortunate that a young life has been lost. It is very, very unfortunate. I have seen the visuals as well. My sincere condolences to the bereaved family. We will definitely support the family," Rao said.
