New Delhi, Oct. 28 -- On 26 October 2026, a cherished chapter was added to the 150-year journey of Vande Mataram.

Recalling the historic observance of Vande Mataram Day in 1937, Padma Shri Hariharan and the revered Smt. Alamelu Mani presented the first copy of the premium vinyl album The Anthem: Vande Mataram to the Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

What made the occasion particularly special was the coming together of four generations of Hariharanji's family, all of whom have contributed their voices to this extraordinary musical tribute.
