Katra, July 18 -- The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) on Saturday temporarily suspended the Vaishno Devi Yatra in view of the inclement weather advisory issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

According to an official update issued by the Shrine Board, the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims. Devotees have been advised to remain patient and follow updates issued through the official communication channels of the Shrine Board.

The authorities are continuously monitoring the weather situation, and the Yatra will resume once conditions are considered safe for pilgrims.
