Dehradun, July 15 -- Uttarakhand Police Headquarters stated that, in view of the safe, peaceful, and well-organised conduct of the upcoming Shravan Kanwar Mela 2026, a high-level review meeting was held today at the Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of Director General of Police (DGP) Deepam Seth.

Senior officers from the Police Headquarters, along with Superintendents of Police from the Kanwar Yatra districts--Dehradun, Haridwar, Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, the Government Railway Police (GRP), and the Commandant of SDRF--participated in the meeting through video conferencing, according to a release.
