Dehradun, Oct. 16 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the release of Rs 328.278 crore to urban local bodies as the third instalment for the October-December quarter of the 2026-27 financial year, based on the funds allocated for 2025-26 under the Fifth State Finance Commission, pending the recommendations of the Sixth State Finance Commission.

The Chief Minister has also approved the release of Rs 3 crore to three non-elected local bodies for the second half-yearly instalment of the 2026-27 financial year, covering the period from October 2026 to March 2027.
