Rudraprayag, Aug. 2 -- Following heavy rainfall, incidents of landslides and falling rocks continue to disrupt the Kedarnath trekking and highway routes in Rudraprayag district and the Kedar Valley amid the ongoing Kanwar Yatra.

Despite heavy rain, the enthusiasm of devotees remains undiminished. On the occasion of the holy month of Shravan, a large number of pilgrims continue to arrive at the Kedarnath shrine every day to offer prayers.

In view of the prevailing weather conditions, the Rudraprayag district administration has appealed to pilgrims to remain vigilant and follow all safety advisories during their journey.
