Moradabad, Oct. 31 -- The Nagar Nigam of Moradabad flagged off a 'Run for Unity' on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

A large number of people, including children, participated in the run.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th Jayanti at the Statue of Unity in Nandia, Gujarat, on Friday. PM Modi remembered the great leader with folded hands and offered sincere homage to Sardar Patel.
