New Delhi, Feb. 1 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that the Union Budget 2026-27 strikes a fine balance between India's aspirations and development.

Taking it to X, the Chief Minister stated, "Compliments to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting the Viksit Bharat Budget 2026, which strikes a fine balance between India's global aspirations and grassroots development.
