Kolkata, March 2 -- Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday launched a sharp attack on the ruling All India Trinamool Congress (TMC), alleging that its policies have led to violence and insecurity in West Bengal.
Speaking with ANI here, Chouhan said, "There are many Sheikh Shahjahans in TMC who are playing with the respect of women. Today, there is a need to protect the respect and self-respect of women, and the BJP government will do it."
He further alleged that the TMC's policies on infiltration and appeasement are the reasons behind the violence in the state.
