Hyderabad, Aug. 24 -- The Telangana Human Rights Commission (TGHRC), headed by Dr Justice Shameem Akther, Chairperson, has passed an order in the HRC concerning the reported lack of adequate infrastructure and basic amenities in Government Schools across the state.

According to the release, the Commission took suo motu cognisance of a news report published in Sakshi Telugu Daily on July 3, which highlighted the shortage of classrooms and basic facilities in Government Schools, including reports of students attending classes under trees, in verandahs and community buildings. The report also raised concerns regarding inadequate toilet facilities.
