Telangana ACB books HMDA Chief Engineer in disproportionate assets case; seizes Rs 9.24 cr assets
Hyderabad, July 14 -- The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a disproportionate assets case against B Ravinder, Chief Engineer at the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), the case was registered by City Range-I under Section 13(1)(b) read with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, as amended in 2018. The agency alleged that Ravinder acquired assets through corrupt practices and dubious means during his service.
