Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, Aug. 22 -- At least two people died, and nine others sustained severe burn injuries following a massive blast reported at a pharma company in Pochampally mandal of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district following a suspected reactor explosion in the area.

A district fire official provided details on the rescue effort, confirming that firefighting units from Choutuppal and nearby areas were deployed immediately to bring the situation under control, suspecting that a reactor may have exploded.

According to a Fire official, "Last night around 10:30, we received a call from locals saying that a blast occurred in a pharma company. One fire vehicle from Choutuppal and two from other places reached the spot.
