Jodhpur, Sept. 20 -- Japan Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF) Chief General Takehiro Morita on Sunday described India's indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas as a symbol of the country's technological innovation and the 'Make in India' initiative after flying the fighter aircraft during the ongoing Indo-Japan bilateral air exercise 'Veer Guardian-2026'.
General Morita and Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh took off from Air Force Station Jodhpur in Tejas aircraft earlier in the day as part of the exercise, marking a significant operational interaction between the two air forces.
