Taipei, July 10 -- The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defence (MND) on Friday (local time) detected two Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft, five PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels, and three official ships operating around its territory.

"2 sorties of PLA aircraft, 5 PLAN vessels and 3 official ships operating around Taiwan detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. ROC Armed Forces have monitored the situation and responded," the Ministry of National Defence stated in a post shared on X.
