New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- Convicted in the 2017 case of impersonating a sitting Supreme Court judge to allegedly influence a judicial officer to secure bail, Sukesh Chandrasekhar has now approached the Delhi High Court challenging the conviction and seeking that the judgment be set aside on grounds including alleged violation of fair trial principles, judicial bias and prejudicial remarks made against him.

According to the writ petition filed before the Delhi High Court, Chandrasekhar has sought setting aside of the August 20, 2026 conviction judgment passed by the trial court in FIR No. 100/2017 registered at Subzi Mandi police station.
