New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) generated more than Rs 1.02 crore in revenue from scrap and freed 516 square feet of office space during a cleanliness and records-management drive carried out between November 2025 and August 2026, reflecting the force's efforts to improve workplace management and promote good governance.

During the campaign, the force, mandated to guard 1,751 km of the India-Nepal and 699 km of the India-Bhutan borders, reviewed 39,900 files and disposed of or weeded out 21,070 files, besides conducting 3,802 cleanliness drives across its establishments, according to SSB data.
