Agartala, Sept. 11 -- Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday said that voluntary blood donation is one of the signs of humanity and that the young generation should come forward more and more to take the voluntary blood donation movement forward in the state.

"At present, blood donation programmes have become part of our culture in the state. More people should be involved in blood donation programmes," he said, according to the Tripura CMO.

CM Saha said this while unveiling the marble statues of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Swami Vivekananda and inaugurating a blood donation camp at the Netaji Subhas Regional Coaching Centre (NSRCC) on Friday. The blood donation camp was organised by the Tripura Sports Council.
