Baramati, Jan. 29 -- Actor Riteish Deshmukh on Thursday attended the last rites of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in Baramati. The NCP leader died in a plane crash on Wednesday.

In visuals that surfaced online, Riteish was seen paying his last respects to Ajit Pawar, placing floral wreaths on the mortal remains.

Earlier, Riteish, son of Congress leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, penned an emotional note on X, expressing grief over the demise of Ajit Pawar.
