New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- Delhi-NCR has seen an increase in Influenza A (H1N1) cases, commonly known as swine flu, with experts reporting an increase in positive cases and testing requests from people showing upper respiratory symptoms.

According to data cited from the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 1,777 H1N1 cases have been reported, which is higher than the number recorded during the corresponding period last year.

Speaking with ANI, Arjun Dang, CEO of Dr Dang's Lab, said the laboratory had detected dozens of positive cases in recent weeks amid a marked rise in testing requests.
