Patna, Aug. 26 -- In a major reshuffle within the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) on Wednesday, the party appointed Surender Vivek as its Bihar president and shifted MLA Raju Tiwari to the post of National General Secretary.

Surender Vivek was the party's candidate in the 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections from Sahebpur Kamal seat, but lost to RJD's Sattanand Sambuddha by a margin of 15,721 votes.

With seven Assembly elections next year, LJP(RV) chief Chirag Paswan has led a major shuffle in the posts of the party's state chiefs.
