New Delhi, Sept. 28 -- Red Bull has approached the Delhi High Court challenging a Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) order directing the company to discontinue the use of the term "Energy Drink" for its caffeinated beverages.

The matter was heard by Justice Amit Mahajan on Monday. During the hearing, the Court sought clarity from FSSAI on whether Red Bull was issued a show-cause notice and given an opportunity to explain its position before the order was passed.
