New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- Indian Railways' One Station One Product (OSOP) scheme has emerged as a significant marketplace for local artisans, weavers, craftspeople and small-scale producers.

As per official information, over 2,300 OSOP outlets are currently operational at more than 2,000 railway stations nationwide to date, connecting local producers with millions of passengers and benefiting over 1.54 lakh individuals.

Through these outlets, the information mentions that sales of approximately Rs 162.39 crore have been recorded so far, while nearly 1,50,000 direct beneficiaries have received opportunities under the scheme.
