New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- Congress leaders on Friday lauded Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for his "determination and resolve" to get FIR registered on compliant of pellet gun shelling victim Sahil Lochav and said he remained at the Parliament Street Police Station for over seven hours for the purpose.

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said the delay in registering the FIR exposed the authorities.

"The fact that a process which should have taken mere minutes was delayed for so long exposes their own failure; these are people adept at making a mountain out of a molehill.
