New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- Posters portraying Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi as a "real-life Batman" were put up outside the Indian National Congress headquarters in the national capital.

The posters feature Gandhi alongside the tagline: "The silent guardian, a watchful protector. LoP Rahul Gandhi, the real-life Batman."

Earlier this month, Gandhi participated in an "Ask Me Anything" session with students and young citizens on the social media platform Instagram. Responding to a light-hearted question asking if he was Batman, Gandhi had quipped, "Let's just say that no one has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together," fuelling viral online trends and student-led memes.
