Pune, June 29 -- Special Public Prosecutor Advocate Ajay Misar on Monday said a Pune sessions court awarded capital punishment to Bhimrao Kambale after holding him guilty of raping and murdering a three-year-old girl in Maharashtra's Nasrapur village.

"The accused Bhimrao Kamble is held guilty of all offences... The court was pleased to award capital punishment and has passed a 137-page judgement... The court has concluded that this is a very cold-blooded, well-planned murder... The court stated that when he is very thirsty for lust at the age of 65, such a person cannot be considered for any mercy, and ultimately, the capital punishment was awarded," Misar told ANI.
