Chennai, March 31 -- CPI leader Vahida Nizam on Tuesday announced the release of the party's election manifesto, stating that it addresses the needs of a broad cross-section of society, including farmers, youth, students, women, transgender persons, and specially abled individuals.

Speaking to ANI, Nizam said the central political objective of the manifesto is to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party, which she alleged is attempting to establish a foothold in Tamil Nadu in alliance with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
