New Delhi, March 26 -- The Prime Minister's Office on Thursday expressed grief over the tragic road accident in Markapuram district district, Andhra Pradesh, and announced an ex-gratia of Rs.2 lakh for the next of kin of each deceased and Rs.50,000 for the injured.

Taking it to X, the PMO office tweeted, "The mishap in Markapuram district, Andhra Pradesh, is tragic. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover at the earliest. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM
