Johannesburg, Aug. 24 -- Player registration for the SA20 Season 5 Auction is open, giving players in South Africa and around the world the opportunity to register their interest ahead of the October 7 auction.

Registrations opened from 1:30 PM IST on Monday, August 24 for three weeks, until 8:30 PM IST on Monday, September 14, 2026.

With all six franchises having finalised their retentions and pre-signings ahead of the auction, 19 slots remain to be filled on October 7 across four teams, with Durban's Super Giants and Paarl Royals having already completed their 19-player rosters for the milestone fifth season of SA20.
