New Delhi, July 22 -- A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed before the Delhi High Court seeking a court-monitored probe by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) into the July 20 "Sansad Chalo" protest over the alleged NEET paper leak.

The plea claims that the incident was not merely a student protest but involved organised violence and raises questions about the role of political leaders, alleged foreign funding and possible larger conspiracies.

It seeks transfer of all FIRs registered by the Delhi Police in connection with the incident to a specialised investigating agency and action against all those responsible for the alleged violence.
