Shimla, July 8 -- BJP Himachal Pradesh president Rajeev Bindal has launched a sharp counterattack on state Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, asserting that neither he nor the BJP needs any "certificate" from the Congress leader.

Bindal said he has served the people of Himachal Pradesh as an elected representative for 35 years, and that the trust of the electorate remains the only endorsement he seeks.

Speaking to ANI, he pointed to the recent Panchayati Raj, Urban Local Body and Municipal Corporation elections, saying the results already delivered a clear message to Congress and Vikramaditya Singh.
