Murree, July 14 -- Two weeks after the fatal Lahore tuition centre incident, authorities have yet to conduct comprehensive safety inspections of private educational institutions across Murree district, raising concerns over the implementation of official orders, as reported by The Express Tribune.

According to The Express Tribune, following the Lahore tragedy, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz instructed authorities to carry out a province-wide review of safety standards in private schools, tuition centres and other educational facilities.

However, residents of Murree district claim that no large-scale inspection campaign has been undertaken in either of the district's two tehsils, Murree and Kotli Sattian.
