New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- OpenAI has partnered with cybersecurity research firm Cathedral to strengthen its AI-powered cyber defence systems, bringing external security experts and advanced AI models together to identify vulnerabilities and improve safeguards.

Under the partnership, Cathedral's researchers will work alongside OpenAI teams, using the company's AI models to identify security weaknesses, test existing protections and develop ways to address potential threats. The collaboration will be part of OpenAI's upcoming internal security sprint.

The company is also expanding its Security Bug Bounty programme, increasing rewards for identifying critical vulnerabilities by more than four times to encourage researchers to examine its system...
